The Odessa Symphony Guild was created more than 50 years ago to support the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale (MOSC). Through fundraising and volunteerism, Guild members provide an integral and critical service to MOSC. Along with continued public education, the Guild decorates for concerts, sells tickets and hosts receptions and special events for the Symphony.
Membership in the Odessa Symphony Guild is an honor and privilege as it provides invaluable support for the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale. Please join us as we support the arts in our community!

The Odessa Symphony Guild is a member of the Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras (TASO). TASO is a state wide organization which supports its members with organization information, best practice sharing and monitoring of legislation. As members, the Odessa Guild represents MOSC and Odessa on a state level via TASO Board Meetings, the annual conference, and as volunteers at the annual Juanita Miller Concerto Competition in Dallas.
Every four years, the Odessa Symphony Guild hosts the National Young Artist Competition (NYAC). One of the older music competitions in the southwest, NYAC attracts young up and coming competitors from colleges and universities across the United States. Guild members have the privilege to get acquainted with some of the most talented young musicians from all over the country and the world. This is truly a wonderful experience!
Included in the Odessa Guild is a Belle and Beau volunteer youth program for high school students. These young people, whose mother must be a Guild member, assist MOSC by decorating and ushering at concerts. Not only do the students earn Volunteer hours, they gain an appreciation for music while serving their community.
The Odessa Symphony Guild’s primary fundraiser is the annual Gala Ball. The ball, generally held in February, not only supports MOSC financially, but also provides the opportunity to recognize our Belles and Beaux. This elegant and fun family event honors the graduating senior Belles and Beaux.
